阴离子聚丙烯酰胺系列产品是高聚合度合成的水溶性线形高分子聚合物，易溶于水，几乎不溶于苯、乙醚、脂类、丙酮等一般有机溶剂。其兼具絮凝剂、增稠性、剪切性、降阻性、分散性等宝贵性能。因而广泛应用在采油、选矿、洗煤、冶金、化工、造纸、纺织、制糖、医药、环保、建材、农业等行业。

主要用途
油田三次采油的驱油剂：可以调节注入水的流变性，增加驱动液的粘度，改善水驱波及效率，降低地层中水相渗透率，使水和油能匀速地向前流动。其作用为在石油开采方面主要用于油田的三次采油，每注入一吨高分子聚丙烯酰胺产品，可多采原油100-150吨左右。
钻井泥浆材料：在油田的勘探开发以及地质水利煤炭的勘探中，用作钻井泥浆材料的添加剂，可以延长钻头的使用寿命，提高钻速和进尺，减少换钻时的堵塞，防井塌效果明显。还可用于压裂液及调剖堵水的堵水剂。
工业废水处理：特别是对于悬浮颗粒，较粗、浓度高、粒子带阳电荷，水的PH值为中性或碱性的污水，钢铁厂废水，电镀厂废水，冶金废水，洗煤废水等污水处理，效果最好。
饮用水处理：我国很多自来水厂的水源来自江河，泥沙及矿物质含量高，比较浑浊，虽然经过沉淀过滤，仍不能达到要求，需要投加絮凝剂。过去水厂采用无机絮凝剂，但投加量大，造成污泥量增大，效果不好。采用阴离子聚丙烯酰胺做絮凝剂，投加量是无机絮凝剂的1/50，但效果是无机絮凝剂的数倍，甚至几十倍。对于有机物污染严重的江河水和阳离子聚丙烯酰胺配合使用效果更好。
造纸助剂：造纸行业可用作烧碱的澄清、助留剂、助滤剂、纸张干湿强度增强剂。
制糖行业中用作糖汁澄清剂。
用作水产饲料中的添加剂及粘结剂。
