结构与特点
1、复合外套由硅橡胶为集体的高分子聚合物制成，采用新型分步炼胶工艺保证了胶料的质量和产品的稳定性。外套具有良好的憎水性、耐腐蚀性、耐老化性等特点。
2、金具和芯棒连接采用无损伤机械压接式连接，这是当今国际上最先进的连接方式。其优点是：连接安全可靠，压接应力分布均匀，且不损伤芯棒玻璃纤维束的完整性，能充分发挥其高抗张强度的优良特性。
3、采用整体注射成型或挤包穿伞生产工艺进行生产。伞套外性美观，憎水性优良，芯棒和护套粘接牢固无缝隙，内绝缘性能好，可避免发生界面击穿的现象。
4、结构紧凑，体积小，重量轻（为同级瓷绝缘子串的1/7~1/10）,具有良好的弹性，不需定期清扫。因此不仅给运输、安装带来极大方便，而且大大减轻维护量及节约大量维护费用，减轻工人的劳动强度，也为事故检修及实施紧凑型线路提供了良好的条件。
5、可在-50°到50°范围内正常运行。
6、可根据客户要求调整产品结构高度、爬电距离以及绝缘距离等技术参数，产品的灵活性能够满足客户的不同要求。
