HDPE矿用管是以高密度聚乙烯为主要原料，添加高性能超导电炭黑作为抗静电剂，十溴联苯醚及三氧化二锑作为阻燃剂，经充分混合塑化挤塑成型的新型环保管材。
 性能特点
★阻燃、抗静电：煤矿用聚乙烯管材的抗静电成分、阻燃成分均匀分布在管材本体中，因而抗静电及阻燃性能指标，不会因使用时间长而受到影响。抗静电、阻燃性能均符合国家标准，适用于井下易燃、易爆的特定场所。
★重量轻、安装方便:煤矿用聚乙烯管材密度小，单位重量仅为钢管的1/8，玻璃钢管的1/3，因而煤矿用聚乙烯管材不仅运输、安装方便，用在井下时能大大降低工人的劳动强度，提高工作效率。
★耐腐蚀、不结垢：煤矿用聚乙烯耐腐蚀性及不结垢性强，特别适合用于井下输送高硫水质的水以及输送含钙、镁等离子的水。大大节省防腐及除垢的费用使用寿命远高于钢管，综合经济效益高。
★自润滑性：煤矿用聚乙烯管内壁光滑，输送流体时阻力小，粗糙度远小于钢管及玻璃钢管道，在相同条件下，可提高输送能力30%。 柔韧性好，抗地质沉降能力强；
★抗老化、抗快速开裂性能好：煤矿用聚乙烯管材抗老化性能好，低温下不易脆化，抗快速开裂性能好；具有良好的韧性，能有效吸收冲击能；弯曲模量适中，断裂伸长率高达400%以上。在煤矿井下，地质沉降等现象时有发生的特殊作业条件下，煤矿用聚乙烯管与传统质地刚硬的钢管和玻璃钢管相比，能有效的避免断裂事故。
★耐磨性好：煤矿用聚乙烯管材与钢管的耐磨性对比试验表明，煤矿用聚乙烯管材的耐磨性为钢管的4倍。在煤炭输送领域，同钢管相比，煤矿用聚乙烯管材具有更好的耐磨性，这意味着煤矿用聚乙烯管材具有更长的使用寿命和更好的经济性。
