PE燃气管产品特点：
不泄露。PE管的用途，PE燃气管道主要采用熔接连接（热熔连接或电熔连接），与橡胶圈类接头或其他机械接头相比，不存在因接头扭曲造成泄露的危险。
耐腐蚀。聚乙烯是惰性材料，除少数强氧化剂外，可耐多种化学介质的侵蚀，无电化学腐蚀，不需要防腐层。
良好的抗刮痕能力。可有效抵抗刮痕造成材料的应力集中，大大降低管道破坏的可能。
高韧性。PE燃气管是一种高韧性的管材，其断裂伸长率一般超过500%， 对管基不均匀沉降的适应能力非常强。也是一种抗震性能优良的管道。
优良的挠性。聚乙烯的挠性使PE燃气管可以进行盘卷。用于不开槽施工，PE燃气管道的走向容易依照施工方法的要求进行改变。
先进的电熔管件结构。非裸露的螺旋式电热丝保证了焊接区均匀的热传导，并有效杜绝了管材插入时发生短路的现象，同时又避免了裸露式电热丝易出现老化腐蚀的缺陷，且管件内壁光滑平整，便于安装。
良好的快速裂纹传递抵抗能力。管道的快速开裂是指在管道偶然发生裂开时，裂纹以几百米/秒的速度增长，瞬间造成几十米甚至上千米管道破裂的大事故。实际使用中尚未发现聚乙烯燃气管的快速裂开。
使用寿命长，可达50年以上。
PE燃气管试验与验收
1、聚乙烯燃气管试验和验收符合现行行业标准《城镇燃气输配工程及验收规范》（CJJ33-89）第七章第一节的规定。
2、PE管厂家选择，聚乙烯燃气管道系统安装完毕，在外观检查合格后，应对全系统进行分段吹扫。吹扫合格后，方可进行强度试验和气密性试验，在强度试验时使用洗涤剂或肥皂液是否漏气，应在检验完毕后及时用水冲去检漏的洗涤剂后肥皂水。
3、吹扫与验收介质宜用压缩空气，其温度不宜超过40℃。
4、压缩机出口端应安装分离器或过滤器，防止有害物质进入聚乙烯燃气管道。
5、山东临沂PE管的用途聚乙烯燃气管道进行强度试验时，应缓慢升压，达到试验压力后应稳压1小时，不降压为合格。
6、聚乙烯燃气管的强度试验压力应为管道设计压力的1.5倍，中压管道最低不得小于0.3mpa，低压管道最低不得小于0.05mpa。
PE燃气管的安装注意事项
1、燃气管安装好后，要妥善保护（特别在贴瓷砖时），不得私自拆、动、碰、砸、挤、压燃气管，以保证燃气管的完好无破损。
2、不要私自拆装燃气管线（包括管线固定钩钉或管卡）和热水器，应该由相关燃气公司的专业技术人员安装，以确保安全。
3、切记不要把燃气管密封，特别是整个楼栋的总阀和各用户家中的燃气表，如需装饰可做成活门柜或留通风孔，要预留足够空间以便维修和安检。
4、山东临沂PE燃气管道不能埋入墙内且离地面不小于250px。燃气管不允许穿墙且不宜过长，灶具胶管不超过2米。
5、有燃气管道的房间不能作为卧室，以免出现燃气泄漏、着火，危及生命安全。同时燃气管道通过的厨房或房间不能堆放易燃易爆物品。
6、如果室内管线已经带气，发现室内燃气泄漏时，首先应关闭表前燃气阀门，打开室内门窗通风，禁止开启电器开关等一切可能引起火花的行为，严禁明火查漏，到室外拨打求救电话。
总之，在PE燃气管的安装过程中，安全是第一要点。对与PE管厂家的选择也应选择具有中国城市燃气协会证书的PE燃气管。
