阻燃抗静电
煤矿井下用聚乙烯管材的抗静电成分、阻燃成分均匀分布在管材本体中，因而抗静电及阻燃性能指标不会因使用时间场而受到影响。抗静电、阻燃性能均符合国家标准，使用于井下易燃、易爆的特定场所。
质轻、安装方便
矿井下用聚乙烯管材密度小，单位重量仅为钢管的1/8，玻璃钢管的1/3，因而煤矿井下用聚乙烯管材运输、安装方便，用在井下能大大降低工人的劳动强度，提高工作效率。
抗老化、抗快速开裂性能好
煤矿井下用聚乙烯管材抗老化性能好，不易脆化，且具有良好的韧性，吸收冲击能。其断裂伸长超过300%，抗快速开裂性能好，能有效的避免断裂事故。
耐腐蚀、不结垢
煤矿井下用聚乙烯管材耐腐蚀性及不结垢性强，特别适合用于井下输送高硫水质的水，输送含钙、镁等离子的水。节省防腐及除垢的费用，而且使用寿命远远高于钢管，综合经济效益是钢管的6-8倍。
自润滑性
煤矿井下用聚乙烯管材内壁光滑，当量绝对粗糙度为钢管的2/5，输送阻力小，在相同条件下，可提高输送能力30%
