低压铸造升液管是低压铸造机上的关键部件之一。压铸过程中，铝熔液（温度700~900℃）每隔3～5分钟从升液管内被压送到模具型腔。传统生产工艺中采用钢制升液管，由于抗热震性不佳、耐腐蚀性差，使用寿命短、更换频率频繁，不能满足连续、高品质生产的要求。 钛酸铝因其较低的热膨胀悉数、良好的抗热震、不粘铝等特点成为制备升液管的理想材料。
