【性质】硅酸锆是一种无毒、无味的白色或浅灰白色粉末，分子式为ZrSiO4,理论组成为ZrO267.2%,SiO232.8%。折射率为1.93～2.01，莫氏硬度7～8，热膨胀系数4.2×10－6，真比重4.68～4.71，熔点2500℃，分解点1550℃。
【用途】硅酸锆系列，广泛应用于陶瓷、墙地砖、釉料、玻璃、电子、等领域。粒度细，分布合理，白度高，遮盖力强，且能显著改善陶瓷的坯釉结合性能，提高陶瓷釉面硬度，可取代价格昂贵的二氧化锡、二氧化锆。具有较强的耐磨性和增白作用。
