产品性状：白色结晶粉末或结晶性固体，有吸湿性。热至100℃时变成含一分子结晶水，380℃时成无水物。易溶于水(18℃水中溶解度为52g/100g)，不溶于乙醇，水溶液对石蕊呈酸性。水溶液在室温久置后有4ZrO2•3SO3•15H2O沉淀析出，溶液越稀越易析出。相对密度 (d16)3.22。熔点 410℃（无水，分解）。低毒，半数致死量（大鼠，经口）3500mg/kg。有刺激性。
产品用途：催化剂载体，氨基酸和蛋白质沉淀剂，钛白粉包膜、皮革鞣剂等。
