包装：应使用干燥、清洁的槽车。
贮存：正戊醛易氧化生成酸，应避免接触空气，在氮气保护下贮存。通常采用铝质或不锈钢容器，也可以用酚醛树脂衬里的碳钢容器。戊醛是易燃液体，运输时应有红色标记。
