用于脓毒症；重症急性胰腺炎；全身炎症反应综合征及代偿性抗炎反应综合征（SIRS及CARS）；多器官功能障碍综合征（MODS）；多发性创伤、挤压综合征。
1、血药浓度达到或超过致死量者；
2、药物或毒物种类、剂量不明者；
3、无特异性对症解毒药者；
4、两种以上药物、毒物中毒者；
5、病情进行性恶化或出现意识障碍、呼吸抑制、低血压、低体温者；
6、机体对毒物清除功能障碍如肝、肾功能不全者；
7、血液净化清除率高于内源性清除者；
8、毒物对内环境有严重影响或有延迟效应。
主要应用于清除尿毒症患者的长期血液透析，难透性中分子（如：β2微球蛋白（β2-MG）、肾素、PTH、血管紧张素等）积累所导致的皮肤瘙痒、顽固性高血压、肾性骨病、淀粉样变、腕管综合征等并发症。
