大功率LED陶瓷覆铜散热基板是指在陶瓷基板（氧化铝或氮化铝）上采用高温工艺键合铜箔的复合材料，后续加工过程中采用化学蚀刻、激光切割外形、打孔而成需要的电路板材料。
随着大功率LED的日益普及，大功率LED的散热问题成了LED产品性能的瓶颈，大功率LED陶瓷覆铜散热基板（DBC)的高热导率以及其低热膨胀系数与半导体芯片热膨胀系数相近的特性，使其成为大功率LED封装的首选。近年来以陶瓷覆铜散热基板（DBC）材料的COB设计整合多晶封装与系统线路也投入实际商业应用中。
